Projects

Expansion of the Silver Line Metro transit system is a major priority of the Administration. Total project costs are being supported by the federal government, Fairfax County government, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Virginia’s commitment is capped at $1.25 billion and is being funded by the state’s debt program managed by the State Treasurer. The project is expected to be completed in 2017.
